VINCENT

1886年〜1889年にかけて、7点の靴の絵を残した画家、ヴィンセント・ヴァン・ゴッホ。

その作品のひとつに描かれた内羽根式のブーツをモチーフに製作したモデルが「VINCENT」です。

内羽根ブーツならではの端正で優美な佇まいに、厚みのある革、反り上がったつま先、外付けのヒールカウンターといったワークブーツの力強い要素を融合。クラシックと無骨さを絶妙なバランスでまとめた、唯一無二の存在感を持つ一足に仕上げました。

アッパーには、イタリア・トスカーナのタンナー、コンチェリア・オットチェント社が、伝統的なバケッタ製法によって仕上げた植物タンニンなめし革を使用しています。

あらかじめヴィンテージ加工を施した奥行きのある表情に加え、茶芯ならではの変化も魅力です。履き込むほどに下地の色がゆっくりと現れ、艶と深みを増しながら、その人だけの美しい風合いへと育っていきます。

VINCENT is a boot inspired by a balmoral boot in one of the 7 pieces of Vincent Van Gogh paintings of shoes, painted during 1886-89. This is how the boot name VINCENT was given. It is a unique boot on which elegance of the classical boot is blended into characteristic work boot elements; thick rigid leather, sprung toe and out-pocket heel counter without any contradictions. 

The leathers are from a “Conceria 800”, a famed tannery in Tuscany, Italy. The tannery makes “vachetta leathers” that is vege-tan leathers made under the local traditional processes. The product will be delivered with distressed finishing on the leathers but thee patina will develop further and beautifully as the boot will be worn.
