定番ミッドカットブーツ COUPEN のラスト（木型）を採用し、Rolling Dub Trio ではこれまで珍しかった 3 アイレット仕様の羽根を組み合わせた短靴が登場します。
アイレット数の少ない短靴は、足のホールド性や実用性よりも、優美な佇まいを重視したデザインが多く見られますが、本作では厚手のステアレザーを使用し、ボリューム感のあるフォルムとオリジナルのコルクソールを組み合わせることで、堅牢なブーツを思わせる存在感を持たせました。
また、履き口にはパイピングを施さず、全体をすっきりとまとめることで、スマートで洗練された印象に仕上げています。
こちらのレザーは、各方面からも注目をいただいている［緑茶芯 / グリーンティーコア］を採用した革となります。緑の革を黒く丘染めし「緑茶芯」としたカナダ産の厚手ステアハイドを使用。
履き込むにつれ、茶色ではなく緑の下地が見えてくる仕様となっております。
※海外では茶芯のことをTea Core / ティーコアと呼ぶ文化があります。
私たちはそこに日本人の洒落の部分も織り交ぜ、緑茶 / グリーンティーと呼称した新しい革の制作に取り組みました。
タンナーさんとの試行錯誤の末、シワの入り方や色の絶妙な加減など、私たちの基準を満たした納得のいく革が完成し、経年変化を存分にお楽しみいただけるモデルとなりました。
This model features the last used for our classic mid-cut boot, COUPEN, combined with a three-eyelet facing—an uncommon detail within the Rolling Dub Trio lineup—resulting in a refined low-cut shoe.
Low-cut shoes with fewer eyelets are often designed with elegance in mind rather than foot hold or practicality. However, this model is crafted from thick French kip leather and shaped with a substantial, well-balanced form. Paired with our original cork sole, it carries a robust presence reminiscent of a sturdy boot.
The absence of piping around the opening gives the shoe a clean, streamlined look, completing a smart and sophisticated silhouette.
This is a leather with a green tea core, which has been attracting attention from various fields. This is a thick Canadian steerhide with a “green tea core” made by dyeing the green leather black on the hill.
As the shoes are worn in, the green undercoat, rather than the brown, becomes visible.
In other countries, tea core is called “Tea Core” in Japanese culture.
We have mixed this with the Japanese sense of fashion to create a new leather called “Green Tea”.
After a process of trial and error with the tanner, we were able to create a satisfying leather that met our standards in terms of wrinkles and the perfect amount of color, and we have created a model that you can fully enjoy as it ages.
