ROLLING DUB TRIOのGRIFFINシリーズ。
ROOTSシリーズと対をなす、ナローでクラシックなシルエットを持つモデルです。
自社工場「THE BOOTS FACTORY」を代表する、日本製・ハンドメイドにこだわり抜いたクラフトマンシップ溢れる一足となっております。
シャフトを細く、かかとのフィッティングを高めることで、すっきりとした見た目と安定した履き心地を両立しました。
使用したレザーは、上質なHORSEBUTT LEATHER #1010。
しっかりとしたコシを持ちながら、履き込むほどに深いシワと艶が生まれ、ホースバットならではの力強い経年変化をお楽しみいただけます。
ソールにはTHE BOOTS FACTORY CORK RUBBER SOLEを採用。
程よい厚みに仕上げることで返りが良く、日常でも履きやすいバランスとなっています。
製法はダイレクトウェルト。
木型には改良を重ねたマンソンラストを使用し、ウエストをぐっと絞ることでフィッティングの向上にも繋げています。

デザイン・仕様について
ダイレクトウェルト製法はグッドイヤーウェルト製法と似ていますが、中底にリブを貼らずに中底に掘った溝から、ダイレクトにウェルト、アッパーを縫い通す製法です。
リブがない分ソールを薄く仕上げることができます。
この製法だからこそのシャープなイメージを生かしたブーツが GRIFFIN。
独自の修正を加えたマンソンラストのつま先部分にUSネイビーラストを組み合わせたラストで、マンソンラストの履き心地を確保しながらスマートなスタイルに仕上げています。
レザーについて
しっかりとした厚みを持ちながら馴染みが良く、密な繊維組織を持ち美しいシワを刻むHORSEBUTT LEATHER #1010を使用しています。
※ROOTSシリーズと同じ革となります。

The GRIFFIN series is a narrow, classic silhouette model that is the counterpart to the ROOTS series.
They are masterpieces overflowing with craftsmanship, made in Japan and handmade with the utmost care, representing our own factory, THE BOOTS FACTORY.
We have improved on the Griffin Engineer pattern we created last season,
The design has been modified with a thinner shaft and improved heel fitting.
The leather used is the same high quality HORSEBUTT LEATHER #1010.
THE BOOTS FACTORY CORK RUBBER SOLE on the bottom is made with some thinness in mind and
The sole of THE BOOTS FACTORY CORK RUBBER SOLE is slightly thinner and has a better warp.
The manufacturing method is direct Goodyear with an improved US Navy last.
The waist is narrowed to improve the fitting.

About the design and specifications
The direct welt method is similar to the Goodyear welt method, but instead of attaching ribbing to the sole, the welt and upper are sewn directly through a groove dug in the sole.
The sole can be made thinner without ribs.
The GRIFFIN is a boot that makes the most of the sharp image created by this manufacturing method.
The last is a combination of a Manson last toe and a US Navy last with unique modifications to create a smart style while ensuring the comfort of the Manson last.
About the leather
HORSEBUTT LEATHER #1010 is used, which has a firm thickness but is well-fitted and has a dense fiber structure that carves beautiful wrinkles.
It is the same leather as the ROOTS series.
