CASPER (Dark White Suede)
私達のモノづくりで日々使用している様々な種類の革。
長年アトリエにストックしている大量の残革を用いてサイドジップブーツCASPERを製作致しました。
残革と言いつつも基本的に全て革の良い部分だけを使用しておりますし、今回は通常生産のグッドイヤーウェルト製法では無く、THE BOOTS FACTORY made のダイレクトウェルト製法。
履き心地もそうですがしっかり見ると顔付きの違いも分かって頂けるかと思います。
(ダイレクトウェルト製法で作るのは多分今回限りになるかと、)
あの時のあのシーズンで採用していた、コレクションラインに載せていないバラエティ豊かなCASPERです。
We use a wide variety of leathers in our daily craftsmanship.
This time, we’ve created a special batch of our side-zip boot “CASPER” using a large stock of leftover leathers that have been stored in our atelier over the years.
Though we refer to them as “leftover leathers,” only the best parts of each hide were carefully selected.
In addition, instead of the usual Goodyear welt construction, these boots were made using Direct Welt Construction by THE BOOTS FACTORY.
Not only is there a difference in comfort, but if you look closely, you’ll also notice a different overall appearance to the boots.
(This may be the only time we produce CASPER using this construction method.)
These CASPER boots feature a variety of leathers that were once used for specific seasons or styles but never appeared in the main collection lineup.
Since we work on these in our spare time and don’t have enough space to display them all in-store, we’ll gradually be releasing them as they’re completed.
Please note: leather type, color, and sizing vary from pair to pair.

縫い合わせのない一枚の革をクリッピングでくせ付けし、細心の注意を払いながら釣り込み制作をしています。
平らな一枚の革をここまで立体的なブーツの形にするのは熟練の職人による高度な技術の賜物です。
縫い合わせのない分、また甲が弓なりに立ち上げられている分、履くことで生じるシワが際立ち、他では得られない印象深いエイジングが楽しめます。
※厳選して革の選定をおこなっておりますが、履き込んだ際に左右差のあるシワが入ります。これは革の性質上起こりうる事ですので、製品自体に問題はございません。

Design --- CASPER is another best seller boot of the brand with its reputation increasing internationally. It requires the highest degree of craftsmanship to make this boot from just one piece of flat, seamless leather. Only the world’s highest skills of crimping and lasting can do the job. The waves of leather crease made on instep to fore-ankle of CASPER is unique ageing results thanks to the one-piece upper. CASPER has become the first side-zip boot that connoisseurs of authentic heritage boots are passionate about.
Although the leather is carefully selected, there will be wrinkles that differ from left to right when worn in. This can happen due to the nature of leather, so there is no problem with the product itself.
