ROLLING DUB TRIOの数ある定番アイテムの中でも

一際職人にフューチャーした品番であるTHE BOOTS FACTORY(BF)シリーズROOTS 。

私たちの自社工場である THE BOOTS FACTORY にて日々生産をしている日本製・ハンドメイドにこだわり抜いたモデル達です。

採用しているレザーは肉厚なホースバットレザー。
近年、国産ブーツメーカーでは使用頻度も高くなってきているのでご存じの方も多いかもしれませんね。

イタリアはマリアム社にて鞣され日本で最終仕上げをした上質な馬革です。
馬の臀部の革を使い、繊維密度が高く、厚みがあり、しなやかで丈夫。
コードバンと違い雨にも比較的強く、抜群の経年変化を見せてくれる革です。

特にROLLING DUB TRIOでは茶芯仕様で仕上げておりますので、ブラックからの経年変化もしっかりとお楽しみいただけます。

木型に関しては、J-MUNSUNという第二次世界大戦中にアメリカ陸軍で用いられた木型をアジア人仕様にモディファイをしました。

ボリュームのあるトゥ部分ですが、サイズ感は見た目ほど大きくなくウェストを絞り土踏まず部分のサポートもあることで、足に沿った快適なフィッティングが生まれています。

製法は職人の技が光るクラシカルなステッチダウン製法。
工場独自の釣り込みや、美しいヒールカーブが特徴です。
特にヒールの削り方(グラインダーの当て方や仕上げの角度)には相応の拘りが詰まっていますので是非注目してみてください。

ソールにはオリジナルのコルクラバーソールを装着。
名前からだと少し柔らかいような印象を受けますが、非常に堅牢でグリップ力のあるソールです。
正直5年はオールソールしなくても大丈夫かと思いますね。
リリースしてからだいぶ時間が経ちますがオールーソールはまだ2人くらいな記憶です。

そして、皆様が気になるサイズ感。
木型的にはCOUPENやCASPER、STANなどに代表されるA品番よりも多少タイトに感じられるかと思います。
かと言いつつ、サイズを変更するほどでは無いように設定をしておりますが、
足幅が広く(EE, EEE等)、甲高な方の場合は、A品番よりもハーフサイズアップをお勧めしております。

また、他メーカー様のブーツと比較しますと、
例）Red Wing, Danner様などのサイズUS8の場合は、US7Hもしくは8で着用可能です

These models are made in Japan and handmade in our own factory, THE BOOTS FACTORY.
The leather used is thick horsebutt leather.

The leather is tanned by Mariam in Italy, and the final finishing is done in Japan.
The leather is made from the buttocks of the horse, and has high fiber density, thickness, suppleness, and durability.
Unlike cordovan, it is relatively resistant to rain and shows excellent aging characteristics.
In particular, ROLLING DUB TRIO is finished with a brown core, so you can enjoy the aging process of the leather from black.

The wooden pattern, J-MUNSUN, which was used by the U.S. Army during World War II, has been modified to Asian specifications.
Although the toe portion is voluminous, the size is not as large as it appears, and the waist is narrowed to provide support for the foot.

The manufacturing method is the classic stitch-down method, in which craftsmen's skills shine through.
The factory's unique fishing technique and beautiful heel curve are the features of these shoes.
In particular, the way the heel is shaved (the way the grinder is applied and the angle of the finish) is filled with a certain amount of care, so please pay attention to it.

The sole is equipped with an original cork rubber sole.
The name gives the impression of being a little soft, but it is a very sturdy and grippy sole.
To be honest, I think they will be fine without all soles for 5 years.
It has been a long time since its release, but I remember that only two people have used the all-olsoles yet.

And the size that everyone is concerned about.
In terms of the wooden pattern, I think you may feel a little tighter than the A model represented by COUPEN, CASPER, STAN, and so on.
However, we have set the size so that it is not so tight that you have to change the size,
If you have a wide foot (EE, EEE, etc.) or a high instep, we recommend you to go up a half size.
Also, when comparing with other manufacturers, For example, if you are a size US8 in Red Wing, Danner, etc., you can wear a US7H or US8.
