ROLLING DUB TRIOのH品番 ” IN'EI / インエイ ”

明治末期から昭和中期の小説家 谷崎潤一郎の”陰翳礼讃”(1933年)をインスピレーションテーマとしたH品番。深い黒の中に宿る美は、シンプルで機能美があり、引き算のデザインであると捉え表現しました。
改良を加えたマンソンラストを採用し、抜群の履き心地と歩行性を持ったシンプルながらもRDTさしさのある靴となっております。
使用しているレザーは、オランダ産のカーフ(日本で言うところはキップ)をボックスカーフとして日本で仕上げました。吸い込まれるような透明感のある黒と、キメの細かい肌面。
美しいレザーと機能美、無駄のないデザインで日本人特有の美意識を追求しました。

ROLLING DUB TRIO's H series " IN'EI ".

The theme of the H series was inspired by the novelist Junichiro Tanizaki's essay "In-ei Raisan / In Praise of Shadows" (1933), a work of modern Japanese literature. The beauty that dwells in the deep black color is simple and functional, and is expressed in the subtractive design.
The improved Munson Last was adopted and became a simple yet RDT-inspired shoe with outstanding comfort and walkability.The leather used is finished the Dutch calf leather, known as "kip" in Japan, as box calf in Japan. Its captivating transparency and fine-grained texture make it a leather of Japanese beauty.
It's beautiful leather, functional beauty, and lean design are the result of an ambitious pursuit of aesthetics unique to the Japanese.
