2023 Ceramic Artist Masayuki Hagiwara Exhibition

The solo exhibition of ceramic artist Masayuki Hagiwara has become an annual event.
The number of visitors has increased with each event, and more and more people are looking forward to each event at THE BOOTS SHOP.
Carefully crafted every day This year, over 200 one-of-a-kind pieces will paint the store in blue.
It will be a very interesting event, so if you are interested, please come early.
We will also have a limited quantity of the extra-large "Big Kukusa Mug," which has been specially made for THE BOOTS SHOP.

Location: Asakusa THE BOOTS SHOP
Over 200 pieces of blue pottery created by Hagiwara for this occasion will be on display in the store.
We also have a limited number of Big Kuksa mugs available, exclusive to THE BOOTS SHOP.
Mr. Hagiwara will also be present for both days.
<Caution>
●We expect the store to be very crowded, so we will be restricting entry.
On the day of your visit, please fill out the reservation form in front of the store and arrive before the designated time.
(A reservation form will be set up at the store entrance on Saturday, December 16th at 11:00 AM.)
🚩To make it easier for our staff to guide you, please also fill in the names of one person in each slot (e.g. Miyazawa①.Miyazawa② is also acceptable). *Reservations will close on the day once the reservation list is filled. *From the second day onwards, you can enter the store without a reservation, but depending on the situation, we may limit the number of people entering the store. *Purchases are limited to 5 items per person per day, and payment is by cash only. (Limited edition kuksa is limited to 2 items per person.)
●There will be no additions or replacements of products on either day.
●We will refrain from purchasing items for the purpose of resale.
●Shipping, reservations, and orders are not available.
●If you would like to purchase or repair boots, we will guide you in order.

Born in Ibaraki in 1979.
Since 2002, he has studied ceramics at the Institute of Art and Design.
He then moved to Gunma Prefecture, built a pit kiln and a workshop, and became independent.
Selected as one of "47 Craftsmen of Nippon" at d47 museumu.
It is characterized by Persian blue ceramics, which are based on the architectural style of the Middle East.
