You can choose from the contents below.

◼︎HEIGHT
You can choose from two lengths: 8.5in (approx. 22cm) and 10.5in (approx. 27cm).

Height is the length from the top of the tube to the top of the heel (upper only). 8.5inch makes it a little easier to put your feet in.

◼︎LAST
You can choose from two types of last. There are some differences in sizing.
FAT=CBT04 (for W series) NALLOW=LCL01 (for Western series such as R)

◼︎PROCESS
1.Hand sewn welted
GoodYear The manufacturing method is similar to hand sewing. It is a manufacturing method that can only be done by hand using high-quality materials, and requires thick insole leather. The thick insole leather slowly sinks and adapts to your foot and changes. You only need a small amount of cork as a cushioning agent, and you can create a foot stamp more directly.

2.Original Norwegian welted
Originally, this was a manufacturing method for snow shoes that specialized in waterproofness, but we focused on the fact that the hand-sewn stitching on the sides is effective in preventing the foot from shifting laterally, so we applied it only to the front of the arch. The area behind the arch is nailed down to prioritize comfort. Only the first outstitch is sewn to the welt. This is a design that allows you to replace the outsole by simply removing the second one during repairs.

◼︎BOX TOE
You can choose with or without a toecap.
GIRAFFE's toecap is designed to be very hard, so it will not easily collapse. Therefore, if you want a vintage style, we recommend NALLOW LAST without BOXTOE.

◼︎LEATHER
1.CROMEXCEL
This is a combination tanned leather made by HOWEEN in the USA that is suitable for work boots. The rich oil content makes it comfortable to wear on your feet, and RDT uses it as its main leather.

2. SUNDY
This is a 2.5mm UP Gintsuki suede custom made by Nakamura Sennosuke Shoten, a leather wholesaler founded in the Taisho era. It has a firmness that cannot be compared to traditional suede, making it a suitable leather for boots. In addition, vegetable tanning allows you to enjoy the aging effect of tanned leather.

3. SHELL CORDOVAN (+¥130,000)
This is the highest quality horse leather from HOWEEN, USA.
Cordovan was originally a leather used for work boots. The fineness of the eyes, stiffness, and oil combination create a unique aura.
Special A-grade quality parts are used luxuriously for the tube parts, so 4 pieces are used for each pair.

4. No.1010 (+¥5,000)
This is an original oil horse butt leather. We researched and developed a formulation suitable for boots while preserving the unique texture of horses.

5. NEW YORK
Benzu is used for belts, etc. made in the Tuscany region of Italy. Although it is a full vegetable leather, it is supple due to the rich amount of oil it contains. The aging shine is attractive and matches well with tanning.
*Please be careful when sizing as it is approximately 3mm thick. In the early stages, it may be difficult to get your feet wet. Lining is not recommended.

◼︎LINNING (+¥3,000)
Gives durability and tension to the tube parts.

Cowhide kip leather is commonly used at RDT. Color selection is not possible.

◼︎BUCKLE
Two types of RDT original buckles: brass (BRASS) and iron (STEEL).
You can choose the pattern on the front (PATTERN) or the back (SMOOTH).

◼︎WELT & “KOBA” COLOR
Both methods use welts, so please choose your color.

◼︎SOLE
VIBRAM#100
VIBRAM trekking sole. Use FIRE&ICE.

VIBRAM#700
VIBRAM work sole. The formula is such that it won't slip even on oily surfaces.

VIBRAM#705 (+¥2,000)
#700 half sole. It is mounted on a double leather midsole.

VIBRAM#2021
Lightweight sole made of foam rubber.

EVA
This is the EVA sole that Fukurokuju has made popular in the world. It is often used in Western boots. It's such a light feeling that you forget you're an engineer. Sole saver can also be attached (+¥2,000)

*Due to production reasons, the edge color (side) of BEIGE and WHITE will be NATURAL. The WELT (top) color will be as instructed.
