TOKYO SANDAL is a "MADE IN TOKYO" sandal that is suited to the Japanese climate and is manufactured at "THE BOOTS FACTORY" using shoemaking and bootmaking techniques.

The most distinctive feature of TOKYO SANDAL is the shape of the tabletop, which was designed from the perspective of ergonomics and podiatry.

This three-dimensionally shaped design stabilizes the foot skeleton, supports comfortable walking, and alleviates various foot pains.

This complex shape is made using only two pieces of bends (thick cowhide). This is a method of molding plywood in woodworking, and pays homage to the method of making skateboards. (In Japan, Tendo Mokko is famous for producing and selling the Butterfly Stool, designed by Sori Yanagi, using this method.)

TOKYO SANDAL applies this manufacturing method to leather, achieving just the right amount of flexibility and pliability, resulting in the best possible performance as a walking aid.

Furthermore, the sandals are stitched down to boot-made, making them tough and easy to re-soled. The leather is also comfortable to wear and ages well, giving you the ultimate comfort.
