This is a collaboration item with ADDICT CLOTHES JAPAN , which develops exquisite leather products packed with a deep commitment to VINTAGE, as well as respect and love.
BMC JACKET (LIMITED)
The design is based on a British oiled cotton motorcycle jacket that has been used in racing scenes for a long time.
While recreating the details of the 1950s and retaining a classic feel, we have reconstructed it in a modern way, such as by shortening the length slightly.
The leather used is luxurious original sheepskin. Not only is it lightweight and easy to wear, but it also features a brown core that changes its appearance with each wear. Sheepskin has better heat retention than cowhide or horsehide.
◆This time, we have added the essence of ROLLING DUB TRIO to this ADDICT CLOTHES/BMC JACKET.
All buttons, including the front and pockets, have been changed to specially processed snap buttons.
When first worn, the garment is black in color, but as it ages, it changes exquisitely over time, revealing the copper-brown base.
The chin strap uses a different buckle than usual. This is the reverse curved buckle (engraved type) used in ROLLING DUB TRIO's special order line "GIRAFFE" engineer boots.
The lining features an original foil-stamped leather patch.
The corduroy on the inside of the collar and sleeves remains brown.
I thought that this color would be a good match as the piece ages and the brown core becomes visible.
This BMC JACKET is perfect in terms of comfort, aging well, and functionality.

ADDICT CLOTHES JAPAN
We originally started out as a specialist store for vintage British rider jackets.
Thick yet light sheepskin, modern shapes, colorful color variations, etc.
We have been fascinated and influenced by old British jackets.
We have sold countless jackets in the past and are collectors of them as well.
But the jacket that captivated us was also made by someone else in the past.
After selling countless jackets, we began to want to create our own ideal jacket.
It is a custom-made item made just for us, with meticulous attention paid to not only the leather but also the lining, zipper, buckle, and everything else.
Fortunately, we have a large collection of vintage jackets and a wealth of knowledge.
We started by creating custom leather that would age like a vintage piece, and we also decided to make all the zippers at the same time.
Unfortunately, the distinctive zippers we desire on old British jackets are not suitable for this purpose.
I couldn't find it anywhere in the world as a ready-made product.
And not only did we make the zipper pulls, but we even made the plain square end boxes from scratch.
Furthermore, we believe that many vintage jackets have not only been worn for many years,
I noticed the changes that occur with fading from the sun, and realized that this is one of the depths of a vintage jacket.
The difference due to sun exposure mainly affects the cotton tape part of the zipper.
There was a clear difference in color between the areas that were exposed to sunlight and the areas that were not.
We made a jacket with partially different colors of zipper tape,
The jacket is constructed so that it looks great when new, but also over the course of several years, when the leather, zipper tape, and metal parts have all changed and become truly complete.
After many years of selling and collecting vintage jackets, we decided to create something we had always wanted to make.
We have completed the new vintage jacket.
