TOKYO SANDAL is a ``MADE IN TOKYO'' sandal that suits the Japanese climate and is manufactured at ``THE BOOTS FACTORY'' using shoemaking and boot-making techniques.

The most distinctive feature of TOKYO SANDAL is the shape of the top plate, which was pursued from an ergonomic and podiatric medical perspective.

This three-dimensional shape stabilizes the foot skeleton, supports comfortable walking, and alleviates various foot pains.

This complex shape is created using only two pieces of benz (thick cowhide). This is a method of making molded plywood in woodworking, and respects the way skateboards are made. (In Japan, ``Tendo Mokkosha'' is famous for manufacturing and selling the ``Butterfly Stool'' designed by Sori Yanagi using this manufacturing method.)

TOKYO SANDAL applies this manufacturing method to leather to achieve appropriate flex and "bend", creating the best performance as a walking tool.

Furthermore, the sandals stitched down by Bootsmade are tough and easy to sole. In addition, the leather is comfortable to wear and will age well, giving you the best comfort.
