ブーツを飾るために考えられた、スツール型のディスプレイスタンドです。
クラシカルなスツールから着想を得て、3本脚の構造とデコラティブなボディを組み合わせました。
小さな家具のような佇まいで、お気に入りのブーツを美しく引き立てます。
ブーツのディスプレイでは、高さや奥行きをつけることで空間にリズムが生まれます。
実際に店舗ディスプレイや写真撮影などでも、スツールを使ってブーツに高さや変化をつける見 せ方はよく見られます。
ただ、一般的なスツールは高さがあるため、スツールに乗せたブーツと床に置いたブーツを一つの画角に収めにくいことがあります。
このスツール型ディスプレイスタンドは、そうした見せ方を考慮し、本来のスツールよりも低めの高さに設定しました。
床に置いたブーツともバランスを取りやすく、写真撮影や店頭 ディスプレイでも自然に画角へ収めることができます。
また、木製ネジによるオリジナルの昇降機構を備えており、設置する場所や見せたい印象に合わせて天板の高さを調整できます。
少し高さを出したい時、奥行きをつけたい時など、空間に合わせた自由なディスプレイが可能です。 全体的に旋盤加工などによる繊細な装飾を施しました。
クラシカルでありながら重くなりすぎず、ブーツの存在感を引き立てるための控えめな華やかさがあります。
使わない時に も、オブジェのように空間に馴染む佇まいです。
カラーは、木本来の表情を楽しめる「ナチュラル」と、深みのある風合いが魅力の「ヴィンテージ」の2種類をご用意しました。どちらも使い込むほどに色艶が増し、木ならではの経年 変化をお楽しみいただけます。

Woodworking artist TAKESHI SAWADA, founder of kamina&C, and Rolling Dub Trio.
Bringing together two distinct approaches to materials and craftsmanship, this collaboration was born from a shared sensibility and respect for things made by hand.
- BOOTS STOOL -
A stool-shaped display stand designed specifically for showcasing boots.
Inspired by classical stools, it combines a three-legged structure with a subtly decorative form. With the presence of a small piece of furniture, it creates a distinctive stage that beautifully highlights your favorite pair of boots.
When displaying boots, differences in height and depth create rhythm within a space. In store displays and photography, stools are often used to introduce these variations and give the presentation greater dimension.
However, conventional stools tend to be relatively tall, making it difficult to frame boots placed on the stool together with those positioned directly on the floor.
With this in mind, we designed this display stand at a lower height than a traditional stool. This allows it to sit naturally alongside boots placed on the floor, creating a well-balanced composition for both photography and in-store displays.
The stand also features an original height-adjustment mechanism using a wooden screw, allowing the top platform to be raised or lowered according to the space and the desired presentation.
Whether you want to add subtle height, create depth, or bring variation to a display, the stand can be adjusted freely to suit its surroundings.
Delicate details created through woodturning and other traditional woodworking techniques are incorporated throughout the piece. While classical in character, the design remains understated, adding just enough ornamentation to complement the presence of the boots without overpowering them.
Even when not in use, it sits naturally within a space like a sculptural object.
The stand is available in two finishes: “Natural,” which highlights the original character and grain of the wood, and “Vintage,” with a deeper, more aged appearance.
Both finishes will develop richer tones and a beautiful patina over time, allowing you to enjoy the natural aging and character of the wood.
Created not simply to hold boots, but to display them.
Height, depth, balance, and the way a pair of boots exists within a space have all been carefully considered in this completely original stool-shaped display stand.

木工デザイナー・家具職人
東京を拠点に活動。
家具工場勤務、木工作家のもとでの経験を経て独立。家具、生活の道具、プロダクト、オブジェなど、木を中心としたデザインと製作を手がける。
国内外で作品を発表し、Milano Salone Satellite、ICFF New Yorkなどに出展。
作品はパリのcolette、ニューヨークのMoMAで取り扱われた実績を持ち、Trapholt Museumに永久収蔵されている。

Takeshi Sawada
Woodwork Designer / Furniture Craftsman
Based in Tokyo.
After gaining experience working at a furniture factory and studying under a woodwork artist, he established his independent practice.
His work spans furniture, everyday tools, products, and objects, with a focus on design and craftsmanship centered around wood.
He has exhibited both in Japan and internationally, including at SaloneSatellite in Milan and ICFF New York.
His works have been carried by colette in Paris and MoMA in New York, and are also part of the permanent collection of the Trapholt Museum.
