2022 Masayuki Hagiwara Exhibition

The solo exhibition that I hold every year at this time at the end of the year has come again this year.

[Solo exhibition by ceramic artist Masayuki Hagiwara]
Date and time: December 17th (Sat), December 18th (Sun) 13:00-19:00
Location: Asakusa THE BOOTS SHOP

Hagiwara created this piece for this occasion.
Over 200 one-of-a-kind Persian Blue ceramic pieces will be on display in store.
We also have a limited number of Big Kuksa mugs available, exclusive to THE BOOTS SHOP.
Mr. Hagiwara will also be present for both days.

<Caution>
We expect the store to be very crowded, so we will be restricting entry.
On the day of your visit, please fill out the reservation form in front of the store and arrive before the designated time.
(A reservation form will be set up at the store entrance on Saturday, December 17th at 9:00 AM.)
●Reservations will not be required on the second day, but entry may be restricted depending on the situation.
●Purchases are limited to four items per person per day. Cash payment only. (Some items, such as flower pots, are limited to one per person.)
●There will be no additions or replacements of products on either day.
●We will refrain from purchasing items for the purpose of resale.
●Shipping, reservations, and orders are not available.
●Customers who wish to purchase or repair boots can enter the venue.

 

[ Nobuyuki HAGIWARA ]

Born in Ibaraki in 1979.
Since 2002, he has studied ceramics at the Institute of Art and Design.
He then moved to Gunma Prefecture, built a pit kiln and a workshop, and became independent.
Selected as one of "47 Craftsmen of Nippon" at d47 museumu.
It is characterized by Persian blue ceramics, which are based on the architectural style of the Middle East.
