"TOKYO SANDAL" is a leather sandal made using the boot manufacturing method that is released every summer, and this year it will be available again from the end of April, at the beginning of Golden Week.
What season is this year?
Thank you very much to everyone who always looks forward to it.
In addition to the standard models, this season we will be introducing two new models: ASAGUTSU SLIP-ON and TONG & BELT SANDAL .
They also released sandals in collaboration with creator Ko Nakano , which they have been doing for the past few seasons.
We will also be producing other colors of the GURKA SANDAL , which was released as a special order last season.

TOKYO SANDAL is a "MADE IN TOKYO" sandal that is suited to the Japanese climate and is manufactured at "THE BOOTS FACTORY" using shoemaking and bootmaking techniques.
The most distinctive feature of TOKYO SANDAL is the shape of the top, which was developed from the perspective of ergonomics and podiatry. This three-dimensional shape stabilizes the foot frame, supports comfortable walking, and alleviates various foot pains.
This complex shape is made using only two pieces of bends (thick cowhide). This is a method of manufacturing molded plywood in woodworking, and pays homage to the method of making skateboards. (In Japan, Tendo Mokko is famous for producing and selling the Butterfly Stool, designed by Sori Yanagi, using this method.)
TOKYO SANDAL applies this manufacturing method to leather, achieving just the right amount of flexibility and pliability, resulting in the best possible performance as a walking aid.
Furthermore, the sandals are stitched down to boot-made construction, making them tough and easy to re-soled. The leather is comfortable to wear and ages well, giving you the ultimate comfort.
